Civic Engagement Grants

WVU has been identified as one of six campuses to be included in a Campus Compact Campus-Community LINK Project. The campuses were selected because of their deep involvement with and commitment to service learning. The Campus-Community LINK Project will fund 24 service learning courses (four courses, at each of the six campuses). In addition to the courses, the Campus-Community LINK project aims to create a statewide model/guide for service learning, discussing best practices discovered during the grant process. The Center will be working with the WV Community Development Hub to find community agencies in need. Grant money will be provided for each course in order to support the service opportunity.
