For Faculty & Staff

See what students, faculty and community members have to say about service-learning!

The Center for Service and Learning serves as a resource for faculty interested in curricular engagement and is the unit on campus responsible for collecting data on campus engagement for the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification.

Whether you are just exploring the idea of civic engagement or already experienced in service-learning, the CSL is here to support and highlight your work. Please explore our site to learn more about how to partner with the CSL, how to get involved with academic community partnerships, and how to work within the civic mission of higher education at West Virginia University.

We would love to know more about how you or your department currently use civic engagement or how we can support you in expanding your use of service in your courses. We would love to hear from you and you can tell us more by taking our survey!
