Dr. Wood-Turner is the Director for the West Virginia University Center for Service and Learning. She received her Doctorate in the field of Educational Leadership Studies at WVU with a focus in Higher Education Administration. She has a Master of Arts in Applied Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Alexis McMillen is the Assistant Director of the WVU Center for Service and Learning. Alexis comes to the CSL with a diverse history of public education, service, and employment. After receiving her Bachelor of Science from Shepherd College, Alexis furthered her qualifications in public service by earning a Master of Public Administration degree from West Virginia University.
Leah Cunningham is the Operations Coordinator at the Center for Service and Learning (CSL). She was formerly an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the CSL, and now works full-time coordinating special events, Days of Service, and The Collaborative at WVU. Leah joined the CSL with a background in student org administration, community outreach/development, and both domestic and international service program experience.
Faculty Program Coordinator
Lindsey Rinehart is the Faculty Program Coordinator for the West Virginia University Center for Service and Learning, she joins the CS&L with a background in community social work and experience working with diverse populations and systems. Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Shepherd University and a Master of Social Work from New York University.
Community Partner Program Coordinator
Catherine Whitworth is the Community Partner Program Coordinator for the WVU Center for Service and Learning. She helps connect our non-profit partner organizations to campus resources. Catherine brings more than 20 years of experience in human services, training, civic engagement, and public health.
